This Too Shall Pass

Blanca is forty-years-old, and her mother passed away quite recently. Blanca had been shaken by the sudden death of the most important person in her life, which led her to realize that she has no idea what the future will look like. To ease her dizzying grief and confusion, Blanca relies on her dearest friends, her closest family, and a change of scenery. Leaving Barcelona behind, she returns to Cadaqués on the coast, accompanied by her two sons, two ex-husbands, and two best friends. While there, she makes a plan to meet her married lover for a few stolen moments. Blanca spends the summer in an impossibly beautiful place with those she loves most, finding ways to reconnect with herself as well as with others and understanding what it means to truly and happily live on one’s own terms – just as her mother would have wanted.
