The Confusion

In 1689, the Mediterranean is a pirate's paradise… and Half-Cocked Jack, leader of the Vagabonds, is aiming to be its greatest pirate king. To gain authority over other pirates and control a vast array of booty and ships, he launches himself onto an incredible adventure that takes him through France's King Louis XIV's court, and down into the deepest catacombs of history. He must convince Eliza de la Zeur – dashing privateer and discoverer of America – to help stand against the forces arrayed against them, including Newton and Leibniz, who vie for supremacy in the fields of science and alchemy.
