The City & The City

A murdered woman is found in the city of Beszel at the edge of Europe. When it looks like a routine case, Inspector Tyador Borlú of the Extreme Crime Squad gets involved and this simple case quickly becomes something much more complex, strange and dangerous. Borlú must travel between two cities that are equal yet very different, seeing a border crossing like no other, a journey as psychic as it is physical, searching for an unseen enemy.
