Mortal Fire

Sixteen-year-old Canny Mochrie's trip to visit her grandfather is disrupted when she stumbles across a mysterious and enchanting valley, occupied by children with great magic. She discovers that she, too, can perform the same magic they use to make things better, but only if she participates in the powerful spell that makes this place so beguiling. The seventeen-year-old boy who becomes her guide is being controlled by the spell.
