Hilda and the Midnight Giant

Hilda, our young heroine, along with her mother and their trusty deerfox Twig, set out in search of the Midnight Giant, but stumble across a talking bear and an unusually large bird instead. Hilda has to delay her mother's career move until they find the elusive Midnight Giant, who can take them to the Blue Forest. As they encounter every kind of magical creature from trolls to elves, this journey will travel through enchanting landscapes and other-worldly settings - such as the Blue Forest and an abandoned city on the edge of a cliff - on a series of adventures that will delight young readers.
