The two were close friends when they went their separate ways. Though each holds a secret which may impact the others, they are together again, facing the shadow of rumors of war. Strange mythical creatures roam the land but they do not share this information with anyone. They meet an enchanting woman with a staff made from a crystal from another world and set off to investigate her tales. Although no one expects them to be heroes, they feel like heroes for the first time in their lives.
