Description
This book of Nietzsche's, Beyond Good and Evil, has been translated by a man named Walter Kaufmann. One might argue that this individual was a correct choice for the translation. Mr. Kaufmann is a very intelligent man and understands Nietzsche. This book is one of the most remarkable and influential books of the nineteenth century. In fact, Beyond Good and Evil is just as radical today as it was then. This translation by Mr. Kaufmann has become the standard one, for accuracy and fidelity to the eccentricities and grace of the style of the original. The translation is based on the only edition Nietzsche himself published, and all variant reading in later editions. Please note: For those individuals who are looking for an index at the end of this volume, I am sorry to disappoint you; however, we were not able to find it in any library that we visited.
