Better Than Before

Takeaways
Description
In her best-selling book Better Than Before: Mastering the Habits of Our Everyday Lives, Gretchen Rubins describes habits and how they work. She says that in order to build better habits, we need to understand why some habits are easier to keep than others. Some habits we find easy to adopt and change and others are harder – adding one habit at a time is more effective than trying to change several at once. We need to figure out what motivates us to make specific changes - for example, if you feel lethargic each morning, perhaps it's because you're not getting enough sleep, or maybe it's because you need some exercise in your daily routine.
