Act Like A Success, Think Like A Success

Takeaways
Description
When Steve Harvey was in his early thirties, he lived in his car while trying to be a comedian. He would wash up in public bathrooms and eat fast food. One day, when he thought it might all be too much, he checked his voicemail and found out the Apollo Theater wanted him to perform! He didn’t have enough money for gas to get there, so he prayed about it. The next day he had an offer from a club in Florida. They liked him so much they asked him to do another gig! This gave him enough money to fly to New York. Although he had no place to stay and was walking around with all his belongings for hours, Steve did not get discouraged. This was a “pushback-pushforward” moment for him.
