Packing for Mars

We must be able to withstand extreme temperatures during space exploration. Space organizations devise various forms of strange and unusual space simulations, such as a test of a new space shuttle in which cadavers are used in place of astronauts. In order to solve the problem of whether or not humans can walk in space for an extended period of time, researchers have been employing a NASA device invented in the 1960s called Vomit Comet, an airplane that flies in parabolas over the Gulf of Mexico for about two hours at a time, so passengers can experience brief periods of weightlessness. Research shows that fresh fruit and beer are essential for survival and success on a space mission—not to mention hot showers.
