Feynman Lectures on Computation
303 pages, 1996
Takeaways
Description
Richard P. Feynman gave his famous course on computation at the California Institute of Technology in 1984–86, and Tony Hey took notes which he has now transformed into a book. The lectures led by Feynman also featured some of the most brilliant scientists of that time including Marvin Minsky, Charles Bennett, and John Hopfield. Some of the material might seem a little dated, but the majority of it is timeless and will present a “Feynmanesque” overview of many standards and some not-so-standard topics in computer science.
