Calculus On Manifolds

This book approaches the advanced calculus from the viewpoint of a first-year calculus course, but with the added rigor demanded by the careful treatment of difficult concepts and methods. Formal prerequisites include only a single term of linear algebra and a nodding acquaintance with set theory, both of which will be developed as needed in the text. A certain amount of background in abstract mathematics has been assumed in the writing.
