Designers, get ready to break the rules! Learning to break the grid is an essential foundation for every designer. But first, you've got to know how it works. If you want to design something different, you've got to learn from the best! In Making and Breaking the Grid , leading designers reveal their creative process in action—made possible by a simple notational system that lets you compare the ways in which they've broken the grid. A comprehensive reference guide, this book also looks back on how grid based design evolved over time—and even how it sometimes fizzled out.

Jan Losert is a designer who loves to design products and websites, no-code/develop in Webflow & create/sell digital resources for the community.
