Named Sports Illustrated's best football book of all time, Friday Night Lights is a heartwarming tale following the lives of a town and its beloved football team. Endlessly inspiring and astoundingly well-written, this is the story that everyone wishes they were apart of. From September to December each year, the Permian Panthers of Odessa come together for one goal -- victory over the opponent on the field. Off the field, these same players are divided socially and racially in their quiet Texas town; but that doesn't stop them from coming together each Friday night to support one another and chase after their dreams.
